How Swyp shows prices

Which prices a practice sees in Swyp, where they come from and how Swyp compares them, explained for suppliers.

Swyp shows a practice only its own prices, from suppliers where it is a customer itself. On this page you can read where those prices come from and what Swyp does with them.

Where the prices come from

In Swyp, a practice connects the account it has with you, using its own username and password. Swyp uses that account to sign in to your webshop and fetches the price you charge that practice, with its own discounts and the stock your webshop shows. It's the same price the practice would see if it signed in with you itself.

Swyp doesn't show your prices to practices that don't have an account with you.

What Swyp does with the prices

  • Puts them side by side. If several of a practice's suppliers sell the same product, the practice sees their prices one below the other.
  • Suggests where it's cheapest. With Scout, the practice can have its cart compared. Scout only compares exactly the same product, counts the shipping costs and suggests which supplier to order from for the best price. The practice decides what it applies.
  • Orders on behalf of the practice. When the practice confirms an order, Swyp places it in your webshop with the practice's account. For you, it's a regular order from that customer.

What Swyp doesn't do

  • Swyp doesn't change your prices or add a margin to them.
  • Swyp doesn't negotiate prices in the name of practices.
  • Swyp doesn't pay for orders or collect money for you. Invoicing and payment go directly between you and the practice.
